Preparation
- Put bundle (handful) of basil together with half a lemon (about 2 cl) in Boston Shaker.
- Squeeze really hard with pestle.
- Add gin, sugar syrup and ice cubes.
- Shake everything vigorously.
- The whole is strained through a bar strainer (not a simple strainer) into a whiskey or tumbler.
- The cocktail should have a distinct green color.
Taste
surprisingly good ;)
Information
Cocktail is served at Le Lion so. A gin of upscale quality is preferred e.g. G-Vine, Tanqueray.
