3 oz Grapefruit Juice
1.5 oz Gin
2 oz Mineral Water (sparkling)

Preparation


  1. Place sugar, water and sliced jalapeño in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved
  3. Cook for 3-5 minutes (or until the mixture thickens slightly).
  4. Let the "jalapeño syrup" cool down
  5. Stir 3/4 oz of the syrup together with grapefruit juice and gin in a mixing glass over ice
  6. Strain into the glass and fill with mineral water

A non-alcoholic version without gin should be at least as tasty!
