Preparation


  1. Wash the blackberries, drain and then roughly crush them.
  2. Place blackberries in a suitable container with the rock candy.
  3. Cut open the vanilla bean, spread it out and add it.
  4. Pour the liquor over it and close the jar.
  5. Store the liqueur in a cool, dark place and shake occasionally.
  6. After six to eight weeks, the liqueur is ready to strain (preferably through a close-meshed sieve or filter).
  7. Pour the liqueur into a bottle.
