Peach brandy is made from peaches, which are first crushed (with pits) and pressed. The pressed residues steep for some time with the addition of water and are then rejoined with the previously obtained juice. The actual brandy is then made from a syrup (pressed juice and sugar), peach brandy, and distillates of the pressed residues rich in bitter almond oil.
